If you’d like to celebrate my birthday with me, I’m doing a little fundraising—
Jesse is a black trans musician and essential worker who has been struggling through COVID and is trying to pay off his electric bill and late fees. I usually do not share individuals’ donation funds because if I share one, I must share them all, but I’ve made an exception here becauseJesse and I have been connected for years. Jesse was one of the first trans masculine folks I followed during the beginning of my account, when I was looking for support. That group of trans guys and trans masc folks mean a lot to me — they are a large part of how I found the courage to be myself openly and transition. Please help him out if you can. You can also support him on his PayPal or CashApp if you don’t have Venmo.
From their website: “Trans Lifeline is run by and for trans people. Trans Lifeline is a grassroots hotline and microgrants 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis – for the trans community, by the trans community.”
@ForTheGworls works to support Black trans women in paying rent and for medical transition.
